Although the 2015 season is barely underway, there is no let up for our designers who are already making exciting progress towards next year’s models. The team recently had a superb trip to Belgium to meet fabric suppliers and get inspired for the 2016 range.

Premier provided a fantastic host in Simon, who introduced us to a range of mills and production techniques. Design inspiration soon came easy after seeing the materials up close.
Drawing from upcoming themes featured prominently in popular high street design, we were able to pick out all the new fabrics for our 2016 models.

As always, we like our homes to reflect the beauty of the countryside that surrounds them, and so some homes will feature a motif of leaf and flower.
Contemporary design and colour were the basis of nearly all the fabric choices, but with design subtly produced in some models through textured fabrics, and vibrant splashes of colour introduced in other designs, no two models will feel the same.

It was enlightening to see the innovative new techniques for printing onto fabric, particularly for dim-out curtains, and the great leap forwards in producing fire retardant and stain resistant fabric.
Samples are being made up now, and we are looking forward to incorporating these into the Regal collection for 2016.
